the vision of the Wooddale UMC: We believe in nurturing our spiritual life as individuals and as a church community.. We believe it is our privilege and responsibility to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the love of God, that sense of belonging, that sense of coming home, to our local community, to our nation and to our world. By introducing you to the power of the Holy Spirit, we want to invite you to come home.
Feeding Friends Food Pantry
Our Mission is to help families in need. We thank God for leading us in this great Mission. We look forward to continuing to help serving our community and families in need by providing food and supplies.
Family Promise
Family Promise is dedicated to helping people transition out of homelessness. Several times a year, we serve as a support church to Stroudsburg UMC on Main Street Stroudsburg. We provide meals and hospitality to those in the program.
Samaritan's Purse
Each year we collect items for children around the world and make up shoe boxes filled with necessities and goodies…wrap them up and ship them out.
Stroudsburg Community Meal (Soup Kitchen)
We are a “helping church” that serves a couple times of year the meal that is offered weekly on Sundays at Stroudsburg UMC on Main Street, Stroudsburg.
Road Clean Up
Twice a year we come together to clean up Wooddale Road and help make our community cleaner!
